Situated between the villages of Waldringfield and Woodbridge, the property provides excellent bed and breakfast accommodation and is ideal for walkers, cyclists and outdoor enthusiasts. Several pubs, offering lunches, quality ales and evening meals are nearby and we are 5 mins from the River Deben and the A12 so ideally situated to explore Suffolk. Thatched Farm has 2 acre beautiful gardens and is surrounded by woods, fields and footpaths - a rural retreat but only 5 mins from Woodbridge.
Situated in the grounds of Thatched Farm are 2 pretty self catering hoilday cottages - Daffodil Cottage sleeps 3/4 and Bluebell Studio sleeps 2. Both refurbished farm buildings they retain their charm but have all modern coveniences. Daffodil sleeps 3/4 and on the ground floor has a sitting room with dining area, a kitchen and shower room. Upstairs there is a double mezzanine bedroom plus a single bedroom ( steep steps to the single).There is a sofabed in the sitting room. Bluebell Studio is all on the ground floor and has a kitchen, shower room and bed/sitting room with double bed, easy chairs, tv etc and french windows out to the garden. Bed and Breakfast rooms in the main house- There are two comfortable cottage style double rooms available. Both rooms have private use of a bathroom or shower room and are equipped with tea and coffee making facilities and hair dryers. Each room has its own private sitting /breakfast area in the house with TV. Generous full English or Continental breakfast available and we will do our best with any dietary requirements. B&B prices - from £38-55 per person per night.
Thatched Farm has beautiful 2 acre gardens with plenty of garden furniture for you to enjoy. There is also ample parking and secure bicycle storage. Laundry room on site with washing mahine, tumble dryer, iron and ironing board. Free wireless internet access in both the Cottages and Bed and Breakfast rooms.
