Sitting on the quayside of the River Wensum, within the shadow of the cathedral, our four-storey townhouse is a peaceful location for a relaxing city break. We have paid great attention to detail to ensure that all of the comforts of home are provided for our guests within sumptuous luxury surroundings.
Once the second largest city in England, Norwich is a historic city with a strong heritage that remains on display today thanks to a diverse range of architectural styles across the many notable and iconic buildings throughout the city. The most important of these buildings are listed as the Norwich 12 and are subject to a number of guided tours and independent visitors all year round. The list includes the magnificent Norman Castle, a 12th Century Keep, and the stunning Norwich 11th Century Cathedral. There is an abundance of cultural things to do including museums and art galleries, as well as leisure activities from shopping at one of the three local shopping centres and at the open market, which is possibly the largest six days a week market.
With spacious rooms throughout, our four-storey property consists of; a ground-floor entrance with a charming study, a cloakroom and a WC off. A first floor with generously-sized living and dining room with high-quality furnishings such as a huge l-shaped sofa, a six seat dining table with high-backed chairs, and good home entertainment via a Freeview TV with DVD mounted about the fireplace. Adjacent to the dining area is a kitchen with modern units, worktops and appliances and a full compliment of utensils, crockery and cutlery. On the second floor is the master bedroom suite with a king-size double bed and an en-suite bathroom with separate bath and shower facilities, and a second bathroom. On the final floor is another two bedrooms, both doubles and simply decorated with mellow colours.
The property offers great views over the river from several rooms, and features free parking for guests with on-site facilities for one car. There is a weekly maid service available when the provided bedding and towels are changed. The property features gas central heating and double glazed windows throughout meaning the property stays warm and welcoming regardless of the weather outside. We offer free WIFI internet to guests with their own internet enabled devices such as laptops and smartphones.
