Town Cottage in Beccles has been beautifully converted from a row of stables and is set within its own grounds, with a courtyard garden available for alfresco dining or for simply sitting out in the sun. Our cottage is set over two floors, with a study and an open planing lounge and dining area on the ground floor. Excellent entertainment can be found at the cottage thanks to our huge 40" Freesat TV, a DVD player and a high-end music system. There's also a wood burning stove in the lounge, logs for which are provided.
We're placed less than half a mile from the town centre and are within walking distance of many attractions. If you're visiting during the summertime check out the Beccles Lido, an open-air swimming pool with low admission charges. You can also visit Beccles Museum, the award winning Upstairs Gallery and the Cobwebcrafts art workshop and gallery. Just a short drive away is the Africa Alive! Animal Adventure Park, with birds, primates, exotic mammals and reptiles. The beach at Lowestoft is just 10 miles from us and makes for a great day out.
Our galley kitchen includes a breakfast area, with seating for 2, and we have fitted a cooker, fridge freezer, washing machine, dishwasher and microwave into the room. The stairs leading to the first floor are open at the back, and we have two double rooms, one of which is en suite, as well as a twin bedroom and a family bathroom.
There is space for two cars to be parked on our gravelled driveway, which we can allow free of charge. One pet can be brought on holiday, also at no additional cost. Unfortunately, due to the open tread stairs at our cottage we are unsuitable for the infirm and young children. If you would like to book a break at Town Cottage call or email us today.
