Property Information

Park View Cottage in Pinmill is a beautiful little cottage set close to the banks of the River Orwell and boasting picturesque views, best enjoyed from our terrace garden. We have completely refurbished the property in recent years, and have included neutral décor to appeal to all tastes, as well as an electric wood burning-style stove in the lounge, where you'll also find comfortable seating and a flatscreen Freeview TV, music system and DVD player.

If you're after a tasty bite to eat you should visit the Butt and Oyster, a Deben Inns pub serving delicious meals for the whole family, and they're also dog friendly so you won't have to leave your dog at the cottage. The area is fantastic for nature lovers, being networked with walking routes and excellent bird watching spots. You can also fish from the River Orwell, with a variety of fish available, although permits are required. For a superb day trip head to Ipswich, just 8 miles from us and home to many attractions and places to visit.

Additional Information

We have included a superb farmhouse-style kitchen at our holiday cottage, with a breakfast area and a separate dining table and chair set in the adjoining room and access out onto the terrace. We have fitted the kitchen with an electric cooker, a fridge freezer, a dishwasher, a washing machine and a microwave. There are three twin bedrooms on the first floor of our cottage, two of which can easily be converted into a super king size bed upon request. There is a shower room and a bathroom with an over shower at Park View Cottage.

Specialities

Guests will find off road parking at our cottage, giving you easy access to nearby attractions. Due to the steep nature of our terraced garden we are unsuitable for those with walking difficulties, and as the unfenced River Orwell runs close to the cottage we advise parents to watch their children when they are playing. We can allow up to two dogs to stay at our cottage free of charge.
