The nearest market town is Bury St Edmunds which has a nice selection of shops, delightful restaurants and pubs for you to visit.
Bury St Edmunds has some wonderful attractions for all the family. West Stow is the unique reconstructed Anglo-Saxon Village and was built over 30 years ago. It presents visitors with the opportunity to learn about the history of how the families used to live. You will find an exciting programme of events such as workshops, demonstrations and costume re-enactments. There is also a cafe, adventure playground, shop and nature trail. This will surely keep all the family entertained throughout the day!
