The surroundings of the property will present you with a stress free environment where you can allow yourself to drift away and forget about the strain of everyday life. The village of Wingfield is small but in Tudor times it was one of the wealthiest villages in the country. Here you will find some places of interest such as the historical Wingfield Castle and Church of St Andrews.
There are some wonderful places to dine in whilst staying at the Gables Farm. Most restaurants and pubs are within a 5-10 mile radius and will present you with everything from Les Routier award winning cuisine, mouth watering pub meals and real ales. The surrounding areas are a delight for avid walkers and cyclists and the East Anglian countryside will provide you with unforgettable, picturesque scenery. You're sure to have a wonderful time whilst staying at the farm.
There are two double rooms and one twin bedded room. All of the rooms are en-suite for that extra comfort, and are wonderfully furnished throughout. The rooms are well equipped with a TV, hair-dryer, TV guide, magazines, room heaters and cool air fan. The rooms also come with fresh flowers and fresh fruit.
Breakfast is prepared using local produce wherever possible, with home-made preserves and eggs from our own free-range chickens. Well behaved dogs are welcome-please note dogs must have their own bedding and food. We have 2 z-beds and a cot if you require them.
