The property boasts a magnificent conservatory that overlooks picturesque gardens, and we are ideally located just five miles from the famous Norfolk Coast and surrounded by unspoilt countryside, historic houses and picturesque towns and villages.
Holly Lodge is an excellent base for exploring and enjoying all that the local area has to offer. Just a short car journey (or reasonable bike ride) takes you to the the Georgian market town of Holt, Fakenham Race Course, the bijou shops and restaurants of Burnham Market or the historic religious centre at nearby Little Walsingham. We have bikes to lend you if you want to give car a rest.
The cottages have been lavishly refurbished and individually styled to provide beautiful and unique accommodation for two, and all come fully equipped with en-suite shower room, tea and coffee making facilities, colour television and sitting area. Country cottage has a New England feel, whereas Colonial cottage is decorated with far-eastern, and tropical influences. Claret cottage has a romantic medieval charm and includes a grand four-poster bed.
A complimentary bottle of wine, fruit and home made cake are provided in your cottage on arrival. We are also the nearest place to stay if you are coming to the Thursford Christmas Spectacular and we can provide a pre-show supper before you go across the road.
