Harbour View is a 300 year old character cottage offering charming self catering accommodation in the Norfolk coastal town of Wells-next-the-Sea. The cottage sleeps 4 and is full of charming features, including the open fireplace, winding stairs and exposed beams made from the masts of old ships. The cottage also benefits from modern facilities such as a handmade fitted kitchen with a dishwasher and washing machine and a modern bathroom. Unfortunately we do not allow pets.
The cottage has two bedrooms, and sleeps up to 4 guests. There is a double bedroom on the second floor, with an en-suite bathroom, and a twin bedroom on the first floor. There is also a bathroom on the first floor with a bath and shower. On the ground floor there is a sitting area with seating for 4 and a dining area with a large open fireplace, as well as a stunning, hand made kitchen with a built in oven, dishwasher and washing machine. The cottage is non smoking throughout, with all gas, electric, hot water, bedlinen and towels fully inclusive in booking price. Guests should note that due to original features including a winding staircase, the cottage may not be suitable for less mobile guests or very young children.
Harbour View cottage offers an outstanding central location just off the Quay near the vibrant fishing harbour, home to an increasing number of pleasure boats. Enjoy delicious, freshly caught seafood at one of the various restaurants, takeaways and eateries in the area and visit the unique shops located on Staithe Street. The sandy beach with colourful beach huts, is just a short distance away, as is the miniature railway. For a day trip out, visit nearby Cromer or the Norfolk Broads. The North Norfolk Coast is a stunning area, and has beautiful beaches, stunning scenery and a range of pretty towns and villages to visit, ensuring you will have a holiday to remember.
Harbour View is a stunning 300 year old cottage, full of original features and packed with charm. The cottage has stunning exposed beams, made from the masts of old ships and a large open fireplace. On arrival a welcome pack is provided, containing milk, tea, coffee, bread and butter. For guests staying for two weeks or more in the cottage, we'll happily arrange bedlinen change and a mid-week cleaning service.
