This 18th century house is full of character and located in a picturesque, unspoilt village in the heart of the Norfolk Broads, just a give minute walk from the public mooring. Neatishead is a peaceful, sprawling village where grass still grows down the middle of its side roads! It continues to move at a leisurely pace unlike the nearby busy and crowded boating centres of Horning and Wroxham. This is the ideal location for a peaceful break.
Just a few yards' walk from the guest house is an excellent licensed restaurant and a village public house. It benefits from a separate dining room and boasts specialities such as lobster and Cromber crab. At Regency House, guests can peruse a good selection of menus from other highly recommended restaurants within a five mile radius. Regency House prides itself on the personal service that it offers to guests and strives to leave a lasting impression. It has a long established name for very generous English breakfasts and benefits from having been run by the same owners for over 30 years.
Regency Guest House offers three bedrooms consisting of a choice of king-sized or twin ensuite and double ensuite. In addition, there are twp public bathrooms available. All rooms are individually decorated in a Laura Ashley country cottage style and tastefully furnished, have fresh flowers, TV, radio, hairdryers and tea-making facilities. The old world charm of a 1786 house reflects in the delightful sunny breakfast room with separate oak tables, set with old fashioned willow pattern crockery and oak panelled walls displaying photos of bygone Neatishead and prints by local artists.
Guests arte welcome to use our peaceful, walled garden of flowers. Adequate parking is available. Light suppers served by arrangement. Packed lunches provided. Children and pets are welcome.
