The site offers boating and angling facilities with rowing boats available for hire from the our own banks. Country walks and cycling routes run from the park and there is a golf course to be found within one mile.

Located in the picturesque village of Hemingford Abbots which is delightfully characterised by thatched cottages and is dominated by the magnificent St Margaret's Church. There is a friendly inn offering excellent meals and the new village hall has a range of attractions during the summer months, including a flower festival held every two years. The nearest town is St Ives, a lovely riverside market town offering a museum, recreation centre and many shops and restaurants. Among the other attractions to be found within easy reach are the historic cathedral cities of Ely, Peterborough and Bury St Edmunds, and the university city of cambridge.
