The area will provide you with tranquil and idyllic surroundings, and offers a secluded like setting for those seeking relaxation. During your stay you might want to sample some of the splendid home-made scones, cakes, light lunches and the famous clotted cream teas, which are served daily in The Tea Rooms. The Windmill Museum is a must see attraction and is situated only a few steps from your accommodation. Learn about the history of this fantastic landmark.
There are plenty of activities for all the family to enjoy. The Cycle Hire Centre provides a wide variety of bikes which are useful for discovering the nearby areas. The Mill will provide visitors with walking and cycling routes, so, you can plan your journey carefully. Bircham Mill also presents you with many exciting opportunities to interact with the local animals. Your children will get to go in the goat pen and will be allowed to stroke and feed the sheep and goats. This will truly be a memorable time for all!
There is a double bedroom upstairs and another bedroom with full size bunks. The bathroom is fitted with a power shower, bath, wash basin, WC and heated towel rail. The living room and dining area are downstairs and are well equipped with a colour TV, video player, radio/CD/tape player, dining table and chairs. The kitchen is fitted with a dishwasher, fridge/freezer, washer/dryer, microwave, kettle, toaster and electric cooker (ceramic hob).
All linen is provided free of charge. Towels are provided free of charge. Electricity and hot water are included in the price. A cot and high-chair is available upon request. A barbecue is available if required. Dogs are welcome by arrangement. There are picnic tables outside, where you can enjoy breakfast. Complimentary cutlery and crockery is provided. There is a bread making machine, tea, coffee, sugar, salt and pepper. In the fridge you will find a pint of milk and a bottle of chilled wine! The Tea Rooms provide a selection of home-made delights for visiting coach parties. Our bread and cakes are made in the bakery which is adjoined to the mill.
