It is situated in Gorefield village, and the Victorian Gothic styled building is only 4 miles from the centre of Wisbech. The B&B is perfect for those seeking a wonderful retreat which will offer them a peaceful and soothing ambience, and it would be ideal for a romantic break. The local places of interest include Octavia Hill House, Peckover House, Elgoods Brewery, The Angles Theatres and The Luxe Cinema, which is a small and privately owned intimate cinema.
You will find many places of interest which are within easy reach. The historic Kings Lynn has excellent shopping facilities and is well known for its art centre and Corn Exchange. You can also visit the North Norfolk Coastline with its stunning sandy beaches, and it also has superb marshes for the avid bird watcher. Other areas of interest include the historic city of Cambridge, the spectacular Ely Cathedral and the Butterfly and Wildlife Park. You're sure to have a most wonderful time whilst exploring the surrounding areas.
The property has four double bedrooms which all have en-suite shower facilities, whilst one room benefits from having an en-suite bathroom with shower. The rooms are individually styled to a very high standard. All rooms are equipped with free high speed wireless internet access and tea and coffee making facilities.
One of the rooms has a fabulous roll top bath, perfect for relaxing in! There is plenty of parking available. Laundry is by arrangement. We can accept small items of food/medication for storage in our fridges by arrangement. Seating is available in the private garden if requested. We are a non-smoking building, but smoking is allowed in the garden where facilities are provided. Evening meals on request in advance. If you arrive between 3-4pm, you will be given complimentary tea and coffee with home made biscuits and cakes, which are served in the library in front of a cosy log fire. Breakfast is prepared from local produce, either from our own garden or from small local concerns.
