The control tower formed part of the military airfield which was home to the 448th Bomb Group in England during World War 2. The site is a fascinating museum as well as a memorial to those who did not return home from their missions. The control tower gives visitors a unique insight into the lives of those who worked here, and there are plenty of special events running through the year. Visit our main website to find out more.
In the control tower there are many photographs, personal stories and diaries of the airmen. Uniforms and a large collection of other memorabilia combine to bring history alive. Admission is free to the tower, and there is ample parking available for your convenience. Refreshments are also available on site. If you have any queries, our passionate and highly knowledgeable team are waiting to hear from you!
Open on the first Sunday of every month, from 10am until 5pm.
