Property Information

The Heritage & Training Room houses many original artefacts, displays the history of the building, shows how the malting system operated and offers a unique space to hold a meeting or small function. During your tour you will also get to see original artefacts that were discovered on site during the restoration period. Many of these artefacts are from the old maltings. They include kiln tiles, barley cutters, shutter pegs and a grain ticket. Visit our main website to find out more about the attraction.

During your visit, why not visit our café, called the Kiln Café after the period when the building was a maltings and the room housed the kiln. Original 17th century kiln tiles and bricks can be seen on display in the café, adding to the character of the place.
