The By Appointment Restaurant is Norwich's original boutique hotel and restaurant. This award winning restaurant is housed in three 15th Century listed Merchants Houses with original features and beamed ceilings. Visitors can enjoy a warm welcome, excellent award winning food and luxurious accommodation. The restaurant at By Appointment is accommodated in four different dining rooms and is therefore able to offer a warm and intimate atmosphere for diners to enjoy.

The first of the The By Appointment Restaurant dining rooms seats up to six people, the second dining room seats up to fourteen people, the third dining room seats up to twenty four people and finally the fourth and largest dining room will seat up to 36 people. Each dining room is available for private parties. The dining rooms are all furnished to a high standard with antique furniture, with the tables furnished with antique Silver cutlery, crisp white linen and antique cruet sets. By Appointment is centrally located in Norwich City centre making it the ideal location for business breakfast meetings. Unique Features

The By Appointment Restaurant runs a series of special nights which are called 'Little Excuses', this is because they give you that little excuse to come and dine on another occasion! Seasonal Taster Evening on Wednesday 6th October 2010... For starters we will be creating a stunning starter from locally sourced fresh wild mushrooms. The main course will consist of fresh local game in the form of succulent plump pheasant. For pudding the chefs will create a sweet dish using juicy seasonal blackberries. The meal will be finished off with freshly ground coffee and home made chocolates. Jazz Evening on Wednesday 3rd of November 2010... Owing to popular demand we see the return of the jazz evenings. You will have the opportunity to listen to Ella Fitzgerald and Billie Holiday type songs whilst you enjoy a three course dinner finished off with freshly ground Columbian coffee. Norwich's first and original boutique hotel, By Appointment only has five bedrooms and is therefore able to offer a warm and intimate atmosphere. With By Appointment being found in three Fifteenth century houses, it has the luxury of an abundance of built in character. The bedrooms, like the restaurant are furnished to a very high standard with antique furniture; the bedrooms are dressed with great attention to detail. It is like stepping back 100 years with furnishings such as glove and collar boxes on the dressing tables, hat boxes and antique suitcases on top of the antique Edwardian wardrobes, as well as crisp white linen nightdress cases adorning the rooms. Included in the room price is a fabulous breakfast ranging from either smoked salmon and scrambled eggs to a full English breakfast. Freshly squeezed orange juice, tea and coffee as well as freshly baked croissants and toast are also served. All the bedrooms have tea and coffee making facilities, trouser press, TV and direct dial telephones.
