Surrounded by rolling countryside, sleepy villages and historic buildings, our Inn is the perfect stop off point for a refreshing drink, delicious meal or good nights sleep. The Inn dates back to the 16th century and retains its traditional Tudor charm with original beams and log burning fires.

Owners Neil and Gill have painstakingly maintained all the traditions of this wonderful country pub and it’s a foodie heaven also serving a great choice of local ales, fine wines, spirits and a choice of soft drinks. Our bar area has a raised gallery and there is a dining room with a heavily beamed low ceiling and secluded courtyard which is reminiscent of a Mediterranean garden in the summertime. Here at The White Horse Inn we take food very seriously. We produce a great variety of dishes using the finest and freshest local ingredients to create a changing menu representing the very best of British food. From free range meats and poultry from local farms, fresh fish from the North Sea and when in season, game from the village shoot. Salads, herbs and vegetables come from the pubs own garden. We have an a la carte menu complimented by lighter lunches and daily specials with traditional roasts on Sundays.
