The Black Swan Inn dates back to the 18th Century and has now been fully refurbsihed and extended. Just 3 miles from Norwich City Centre, the Inn overlooks a picturesque green and has a good reputation for serving quality food and drink. In addition to a cosy lounge bar in the original building, a stylish barn conversion incorporates an à la carte restaurant and function room. Ample car parking is available, together with a heated outside smoking area and disabled toilet and access facilities.

The Black Swan Inn offers a spacious and informal space in whgich to enjoy great food and drink. Comfortable seating and a friendly atmosphere means to can enjoy relaxed dining or just call in for a drink. The Inn can also cater for private functions and wedding receptions with a choice of menus. In addition to the relaxed a la carte restaurant the Inn has a lounge bar which hosts various events including a twice weekly general knowledge quiz with prizes.

The Black Swan Inn serves a range of home cooked, locally sourced dishes prepared by their experienced chefs. The Black Swan Inn uses fresh local produce when available. All food is cooked to order, and there is also a specials menu with dishes changing daily. Starters include such favourites as Local field mushrooms with sauteed onions and a stilton cream sauce, Pork and chicken liver pate served with plum chutney and warm ciabatta roll or maybe crispy chilli beef served on a bed of egg noodles. Main dishes include classic, locally reared meats and grills cooked to your liking, ipa beer battered Cod, Roast pork, steak, ale and mushroom pudding and spinach, cherry tomato and mozerella herb pudding. A range of side portions and desserts are available to complete your meal.

Here at the Black Swan we have been catering for private functions, such as wedding reception, wakes and more for many years and pride ourselves in providing a professional and friendly service to our guests. With our recently refurbished and extended restaurant we can cater for small to large groups and the use of the separate dining room is available for private functions.
