East Anglia Dog Friendly Accommodation

East Anglia dog friendly accommodation is no longer at the premium you might expect. Many families can't bear to leave Fido in a kennel, especially given the doggy joys of the Norfolk Broads wetland. And if you don't have the time you'd like to walk your dog, there are pet sitting services that will visit your pet in your holiday accommodation, and take them for a brisk walk of at least an hour. Make sure to get a CRB checked provider. There are plenty of Norfolk dog friendly cottages where floors are laminate or slate, there is a shelter in the garden and even a water bowl. As a treat, you can buy your dog some delicious Norfolk beefsteak, or some local (deboned) fish from Cromer. Suffolk hotels that allow dogs are a little more unusual but do exist. Hotels may charge an extra fee for your pet, depending on how pet friendly they are; there's a pub that has even brought out a doggy menu with a wide selection of delicious dog foods and snacks.  Some may specify that dogs are fine, but not in restaurant areas and not unsupervised. Many have rooms that are only for pet owners to minimise allergy risk to other guests.

East Anglia Pet Friendly Cottages

There are places to stay with dogs all over East Anglia, if your pooch can handle caged travel and your partner / friends can handle 2 hours of barking. A traditional Suffolk dog friendly cottage will most likely be a traditional stone building, but with cheaper, Ikea style furnishings (dog friendly cottage owners generally know dogs!). Enclosed gardens can be equally as helpful for dogs as for children, especially when local farmers might take exception to sheep being worried into premature birth. Norfolk pet friendly cottages aren't usually cat friendly - besides many cat lovers will tell you that our feline friends do not travel well.

East Anglia Dog Friendly Hotels

If you need East Anglia dog friendly hotels then plan ahead and pick the best one for your pet's needs. There's a huge variety of accommodation that allows dogs; there's no point trying to cram a Dulux dog into a tiny B&B. You'd be much better off booking into one of the larger Southwold hotels that allow dogs, especially given the local scenery. If your beloved pup loves the seaside, take them to the beach and find some Hunstanton pet friendly accommodation.  They'll love the salt water, the firm sand, the intriguing creatures they can nose out from rocky crevasses.
